Who we are
MyPolicyLens is building a tool that helps people understand the insurance policies they already own. This page explains what we collect when you join our waitlist, why, and the choices you have. We are not an insurer and we do not sell, place, or recommend insurance products.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect only what you give us:
- Your email address.
- How many insurance policies you own (a range, e.g. "2–3").
- Optionally, a free-text note about what worries you about your insurance.
- Basic, non-identifying analytics about how you used this page (which sections you reached, your quiz score, and the marketing link you arrived from).
We do not ask for or store your policy documents, ID numbers, health records, or payment details on this page.
Why we collect it
To contact you when early access opens, to understand whether the product solves a real problem, and to learn which channels reach the people we are building for. That is the only purpose — we practise purpose limitation and data minimisation.
Tools we use
Waitlist entries are stored in Google Sheets. We use PostHog (EU hosting) for anonymous product analytics and Microsoft Clarity for anonymised usage insights. Form inputs are masked in session recordings, so your email and free-text note are not captured in those recordings.
We never sell your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data, and we will not send you sales calls or spam. You will only hear from us about MyPolicyLens.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it at any time — just email us at the address below and we will action it. You can withdraw from the waitlist whenever you like.
